It is with great sadness that UIC learned of the passing of Mr Rudy Colle, former Director General of the International Union Rail-Road UIRR, the European organisation promoting intermodal rail road transport. Rudy Colle passed away on 14 July in Sint-Agata-Rode in Belgium. He was born in Ghent on 22 February 1940.

All through his UIRR career, Rudy Colle was a key partner of UIC and its Combined Transport Group.

UIC extends its deepest sympathy and its most sincere condolences to his wife, children and family.
