Companies from all over Europe have participated in the prequalification for the two remaining EPC contracts regarding the Follo Line Project. The EPC contract is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract that comprises the entire project starting from designing, planning and procurement.
The Norwegian National Rail Administration has selected the companies who will be invited to bid for the contracts.
The two contracts included in this prequalification covers the approach from the tunnel at both ends, to Oslo Central Station and to the new public transport hub at Ski.
The Follo Line Project (the largest transport project in Norway, which includes the country`s longest railway tunnel, 20 km) has evaluated both national and international companies.
Highly qualified participants

The following six companies and joint ventures are prequalified for the EPC Oslo Central Station contract:
- AF Gruppen Norge AS, Norway
- Bilfinger Construction GmbH, Germany
- Salini Impregilo, Italy
- Skanska Norge AS and Ed. Züblin AG, Norway/Germany
- Società Italiana per Condotte d’Acqua S.p.A, Italy
- Veidekke Entreprenør AS, Norway
The following five companies are prequalified for the EPC Ski contract:
- AF Gruppen Norge AS, Norway
- Obrascón Huarte Lain, Spain
- Skanska Norge AS, Norway
- Società Italiana per Condotte d’Acqua S.p.A, Italy
- Veidekke Entreprenør AS, Norway
ITT for the EPC Oslo Central Station contract will be sent out to the pre-qualified companies towards the end of June and the ITT for the EPC Ski contract is scheduled for the end of August.
Both contracts are scheduled to be signed in the spring of 2015.
