Business is good at Xrail, the production alliance formed in February 2010 between seven European rail freight operators to strengthen international wagonload traffic: between autumn and the end of 2010, around 10% of all European wagonload traffic – that is 150 connections – was undertaken between the partners in accordance with Xrail standards. By the end of this year, the number of proposed connections is set to triple to 450. The alliance is aiming for 25% market coverage of the European wagonload network, with next year’s share expected to reach 40%.
In Europe, Xrail offers customers reliable and service-oriented wagonload transport – with more transparency with regard to the availability of information throughout the entire journey. (Source: Xrail)
